Through the InSciEd Out program, scientists from the University of Minnesota helped third graders at Moreland Arts and Health Sciences Magnet School set up an experiment with worms. They are testing to see if what the food worms eat will affect their behavior and size (healthy food vs. unhealthy food). Students measured and weighed worms and made dirt habitats for their worms while putting different food items in the soil. Way to go, students!
