The School District 197 special election will be held on May 8, 2018. 

VOTE EARLY
Vote early from home - start this process today!
Complete an absentee ballot. Click here to download an application. You may also call 651-403-7002 or email mary.amidon@isd197.org to have an application mailed to you. Ballots will be mailed to applicants starting March 23.

Vote early in person - March 23-May 7
Early in-person voting will be available at the School District 197 Office or the Dakota County Northern Service Center. If you are not a registered voter, please bring proper identification—a current Minnesota driver’s license or state ID (learn about other accepted forms of ID at www.mnvotes.org).

The District Office is open Monday-Friday 8 a.m.-4 p.m. with extended hours on:
•  Thursday, April 12 - 8 a.m.-8 p.m.
•  Saturday, April 14 - 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
•  Thursday, April 26 - 8 a.m.-6 p.m.
•  Saturday, April 28 - 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
•  Monday, April 30-Friday, May 4 - 8 a.m.-6 p.m.
•  Saturday, May 5 - 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
•  Monday, May 7 - 8 a.m.-5 p.m.

The Dakota County Northern Service Center is open from 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m., Monday-Friday. It is located at 1 Mendota Road in West St. Paul.

The District Office is located adjacent to Henry Sibley High School at 1897 Delaware Avenue in Mendota Heights.

VOTE MAY 8
The combined polling locations on May 8 will be Friendly Hills Middle School, Heritage E-STEM Magnet Middle School, Henry Sibley High School, Pilot Knob STEM Magnet Elementary School and St. Stephen’s Church in West St. Paul. 

Polls will be open from 7 a.m.-8 p.m. If you are not a registered voter, please bring proper identification—a current Minnesota driver’s license or state ID (learn about other accepted forms of ID at www.mnvotes.org).
